Book

Instead of being frustrated with what little information there is available when you enter menopause and don’t recognize yourself I put pen to paper.  In “Sailing through Menopause” I write about what it was like to live with hot flashes, anxiety, night sweats, being moody and having an utterly slow and unreliable brain. It is a naked and honest story with some humor thrown into the mix for what can you do when all seems miserable but to laugh? It is also about how I discovered that a change in diet made all the symptoms cease and the science behind it. Because it is actually quite scientific.

It is a naked and honest story with some humor thrown into the mix for what can you do when all seems miserable but to laugh? It is also about how I discovered that a change in diet made all the symptoms disappear, and the science behind it. Because it is actually quite scientific.

I go through what the researchers believe is happening with the body during menopause, why the symptoms happen and what you can do about it. I was shocked to learn the real reasons (brain starvation). That also explains why we shouldn’t take this phase of our lives lightly.

We should not be quiet and suffer in silence, not only is it completely unnecessary. But also, our choices during this time might determine the quality of the rest or our lives. It is big news but the remedy isn’t so difficult and brings lots of benefits. I had to retrain my mindset but it has been well worth it. Perhaps it will work for you as well?

So exciting, my book is now available in both print and for Kindle at Amazon.
